Those of us who park on the street might be starting to get an anxious feeling in the back of our minds. After the initial excitement of the big storm wears off and we’ve all posted the obligatory snow pics, it comes time to shovel out our cars — and to enter the annual chair debate.
To save or not to save. “I shoveled it; it’s my spot!” vs. “It’s public parking; no saving allowed!”
It’s illegal. It’s rude. It just shouldn’t be done. … Oh, look, my neighbor did it. And now the other neighbors are doing it. … I’m the only one not doing it. I have nowhere to park my high horse. … Oh, get the damn lawn chair. … Stay out of my spot, buddy!
Let the games begin.
